The Garden Furniture Centre are a major online retailer of high quality garden furniture, conservatory furniture and accessories. They operate a multi-million pound Ecommerce Platform with over 2000 products.

The Challenge:

When we initially took this client on, (2014), their website had received both a Panda and Penguin penalty from Google which had decreased their Organic Search Visibility by over 75%.

Our Solution:

An initial deep analysis of the websites backlink profile revealed a lot of toxic links so we initiated a disavow process with Google and manually removed all the toxic links we were able to.

We the optimised all on site pages for relevant key terms from in depth keyword analysis and wrote professional sales copy to increase user time on site, lower Bounce Rate and increase Conversion from existing traffic. Regular onsite blogging also formed a big part of this Content Marketing Strategy.

The third stage was then to increase the depth, quality and diversity of the websites backlink profile and this was done with content and press outreach campaigns.

We also produced regular social postings to increase engagement and site referral and offer higher value social bookmarks and signals for better indexing and SEO search gains.

The Results:

The website now receives up to 11,000 visitors per/day and we have increased the organic search exposure by over 200%. Return On Investment currently sits at around 175%.

We have been that successful that we now run all aspects of The Garden Furniture Centres online marketing from an email base of over 40,000 to over 20,000 Social Media fans and a full service PPC model from Google Shopping & YouTube Ads to Facebook & Instagram promotions.
